Lisa found herself quite by accident in the real estate profession in the year 2000, upon spending a career in Social Work. Real Estate has never been considered a job to Lisa, but rather a call to action. Throughout her 20 years in the industry she has specialized in new home construction, the general resale market, and condominium development sales. Lisa enjoys working with all demographics and life situations, but particularly enjoys partnering with first time home buyers. Making your first home purchase is a significant step that requires precise guidance, education, and support. The real estate market consistently modifies and evolves, therefore whichever stage of home buying you're experiencing, you will require and benefit from a knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate real estate professional. Lisa has been referred to as "Mama" by many of her previous and current colleagues which she humbly views a compliment. This label was cultivated from Lisa's nature of modeling encouragement, integrity, and proficiency, combined with her zest for concept sharing to make the Real Estate industry a better place for everyone. Lisa has been fortunate enough to be the recipient of various broker and builder awards in both Calgary, AB and Kelowna, BC, to include being the Diamond award winner from 2014-2018, Silver Tommie Award and numerous Home Builder Association awards.
Lisa has a background in the field of Social Work with a Diploma through Mount Royal College. Add value certificate programs are Conflict Resolution Certificate; Mediation and Negotiation Certificates all through Mount Royal University. Interior Decorating Certificate through Okanagan College and Real Estate Trading Services certificate through Saunders School of Business at UBC. Lisa is a lifelong learner and has completed several sales training programs and professional development courses.
On a personal note Lisa has been married for 25 years and has 2 boys, ages 24 and 21. She spends most of her free time with her family, friends and her French Bulldog Jaxson.
